A dazzling retreat in an intensely beautiful setting, at the Tamarind Village, everywhere you turn you are greeted with inspiration and imagination, from classic Lanna styled exterior structures to the elegant use of contemporary Thai interior design. The architects use of natural materials and color tones, (even in the construction of the resorts large swimming pool and sala) and the liberal placing of Buddhist artifacts and artwork in the resorts 40 rooms bring about a classic laid back Northern Thai ambiance.
Set over three courtyards and surrounding the Resorts 120 year old tamarind tree, on display is a carefully blended pallet of architecture, open space and undisturbed peace. Conveniently located in the heart of Chiang Mai’s old town, from the Tamarind Village access is easy to many of the highlights that the city has to offer, including the much revered Wat Phra Singh and the famous night bazaar, both only a short walk from the resort.
