Displaying Srivichai Period architecture, the Cliff has a distinctly upcountry vibe. Guests get the feeling that they could even be in Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai in the far northern stretches of the Kingdom, yet the beach is a mere 700 meters away. A boutique hotel with only 20 rooms, The Cliff management claim to be the only boutique resort in Krabi, however with the Tropical Herbal Spa & Resort just over the road plus a number of other small resorts opening their doors at an almost alarming rate, this doesn’t really hold true. However, one thing that is true is that The Cliff is truly boutique unlike many others that lay claim to be.
The resort is cute, petite, elegant and overall, supremely pleasing on the eye. Terracotta and brick red, immaculate whites, dark wood colors and granite grey make up the tones, all situated within an almost impossibly green juicy canopy.
Walking from the warm reception that awaits visitors on arrival through to the rooms, guests are met by a truly awe-inspiring site of red brick fountains and terracotta roof tiled villas surrounding a beautiful slim granite infinity edge osmosis swimming pool with a back drop of palms, plants and towering craggy limestone cliffs.
