Sitting majestically on the beach of Prachuap kiri khan just south of the small market town of Pranburi, Praseban Resort is a slick, stylish, small modern resort. Loved by well off Thais who make up the vast majority of the guest base, the resort offers luxury accommodation in plush surroundings with a real away from it all feel.
With just 14 rooms, even when full it’s not busy. The beach here is always deserted and although this strip does have several resorts, their laid back back to nature concept compliment rather than intrude on one other. This bay is perfect for a romantic break and the resort is fully geared up for couples or groups of friends who want the sanctuary that a remote location such as this provides. That said it is only a 3 hour drive from Bangkok and there are several daytrips in the surrounding area but the real reason for coming here is to relax, and re-vitalize. This peaceful place is ideal for that, with beautiful, calming views of the beach and the bay perfectly matched by the Thai and Balinese architectural styling and deécor of the resort.
Praseban’s central area is a tropical garden of fountains and waterways, lily ponds, trees and shrubbery, lawned sections and railway sleeper walkways centered infinity edge swimming pool all facing the beach. Wherever you are here, close your eyes and you’re at one with nature. The soothing sounds of the waves, the running water around the resort and the gentle sea breeze all serve to reawaken your senses.
Many little extra touches of style here, statues and carvings everywhere really highlight the concept feel, while the dark woods and natural stone contrast comfortably, softening the sharp lines of the clean, angular design of the buildings.
